The days following V-day proved their testing was accurate, reporting on the thousands of consumer complaints for poor quality, late and nonexistent deliveries, and poor customer service response. The fresh cut flower vendors blamed the bad weather.
The fact remains that the entire fresh flower industry is at total system overload that week; the quality of the product and service suffers tremendously. Weather was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back, and a poor excuse.
